MARIO REYNA
McALLEN – Mario Reyna, 32, died Thursday, October 19, 2016, at McAllen Medical Center.
Mr. Reyna was born in McAllen and had lived there most of his life. Mario earned a track scholarship to Texas A&M University at College Station. His passion was being a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many he encountered.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jose and Elva “Wita” Reyna.
Mario is survived by his wife, Mayra Reyna; two children, Mila Reyna and Ethan Harley Reyna, all of Edinburg; parents, Mario and Regina (Rojas) Reyna; a brother, Edward Lee Reyna, all of McAllen; and his maternal grandmother, Erlinda Rojas of Wharton, TX.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, October 21, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2016, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
